This accession consists of records that document the contract between National Portrait Gallery and John Fraser, Jr., who contracted to copy records of portraits of Americans on record at Frick Art Reference Library in New York City. Included are contract invoices, correspondence between Gallery and Fraser, and a report on a visit to the Frick by Fraser.
