REEL D247: Biographical information; correspondence undated and 1944; critical reviews from magazines; obituary notices; exhibition catalogs, 1908-1963; two sketchbooks, 1906-1908; and photographs of Ault, his family and paintings, including 2 by J.F. Ryder of Ault at one year, and of a Cleveland Art Association exhibition, 1895. Also included are correspondence of Louise (Mrs. George) Ault, 1937-1965, mainly dealing with her efforts to exhibit and sell her husband's work after his death, and her writings on George Ault.

REEL 1927: A 48-page record book of sales and gifts of Ault's work, 1913-1980; a biographical sketch; and four letters, 1947-1948, from Ault to Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Lawrence about their purchase of his painting, "Bright Lights." Also included are Louise Ault's correspondence concerning donations of her husband's works, 1969-1977; her correspondence with the Whitney Museum, 1977, regarding its exhibition "George Ault: Nocturnes," and a catalog from the exhibition.
