Loan: Papers primarily of the Butler Institute of American Art, 1919-1974, but also of the Youngstown Museum of Art, 1915-1919, of the Mahoning Institute of Art, 1915-1919, and of Joseph G. Butler, Jr. (who was one of the founders of each of these museums). Included are autobiographical material and personal correspondence of Butler; articles of incorporation, correspondence, and business records of each of the museums; building correspondence, donor files, and artist files of the Butler Institute; and miscellany.
