First 13 minutes are devoted to a ceremony centered around Marshall Fredericks' sculpture the "Spirit of Detroit." This is followed by silent footage of the mounting of Fredericks' sculpture of Christ on the cross at Indian River, and then footage of the unveiling ceremony for the Memorial to Norwegian Emigrants (a casting of Fredericks' "Leaping gazelle" sculpture). Fredericks himself is featured in much of the footage.
