The collection documents the gallery's activities through administrative files and business records, artist files, and printed materials. The records include loan agreements, collector files, financial and sales records, correspondence, biographical information regarding artists, slides and negatives of works of art, several VHS video recordings as well as loose scrapbook pages with news clippings and additional printed material.

Corbino Galleries (established 1985; closed 2003), established by Marcia and Michael Corbino, artist Jon Corbino's wife and son, was a contemporary art gallery in Sarasota and Longboat Key, Florida. The gallery represented American, Latin American, and other emerging artists including Dorothy Gillespie, Eric and Jimmy Ernst, Popliteo (Luis Montoya and Leslie Ortiz), Humberto Calzada, and many others.
