Files on portrait commissions, primarily of individuals in Pennsylvania, containing photographs, letters and newspaper clippings; files on Cortiglia's murals and honorary degrees from Kings College, 1977-1978, and his participation in the Hoosier Salon Jury, 1950-1951, and the Primaverile Exhibition in Florence, Italy, 1920. Also included are letters to Cortiglia praising his portraits, 1936-1977; printed material, 1920-1982; and photographs, 1922-1977, of Cortiglia's work and a few photographs of Cortiglia.
