Author
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Papers on reel 124 were donated by Maud V. Elmer via Mary Bartlett Cowdrey, 1957-1963. Cowdrey augmented this initial gift by adding material from her own files: the McCausland letters and eight photographs of paintings. Maud V. Elmer died in 1963, and in the course of settling her estate, Cowdrey received the five photographs of Elmer and family, and clippings from Paul Copeland, executor (?). Material on reel 2803 donated in 1977 by a relative of Elmer, William B. Elmer.
