Painter, air brush artist, photographer; Boston, Mass. Attended the Art Students League in N.Y. and studied under John Twachtman, J. Carroll Beckwith and Willard Metcalf. He was a charter member of the Brooklyn Pen and Pencil Club, and a member of the Boston Art Club. He was a pioneer in the field of air-brush art and published a book on the subject in 1915. He became an instructor at the Scott Carbee School of Art in Boston in 1943.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Lent 1991 by Gertrude Frazer, daughter of Samuel Frazer. She subsequently donated the material in March 1993.
