This collection includes letter written by artist Jan Gallione to her friend Cynthia LeRoy from multiple locations throughout the United States and Europe. Letters date from 1978-1992. In most, Gallione describes events in some detail. Some are accompanied by photographs of Gallione, posing at historical sites in various locations. One postcard is altered, with Gallione's face collaged onto a postcard bearing the image a female figure. Gallione mentions significant institutions where she was active as an artist, art worker, and educator, such as Skowhegan School, Zabriskie Gallery, and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
