15 items relating to the career of painter Frank Russell Green, mainly printed material, including: five reproductions of Green's illustrations; a magazine article about Green; an exhibition announcement for the Société Anonyme "La Glypto" Salon de 1900; multiple pages from the French art journal "L'Art Français" including a reproduction of Green's "Le Soir (Hollande)"; a letter from the curator of the Chicago Historical Society to Green's daughter, Mrs. Alexander McKinlay Lackey; a two-page typewritten biography of Green from the Chapellier Gallery in Flushing, N.Y.; and one unidentified photograph, possibly Green seated in his studio.

Painter; New York. Green studied in Paris with Boulanger, Lefebvre, Collin and Courtois, and during his career received numerous exhibitions and awards, including an honorable mention at the Paris Salon of 1900.

Donated 2000 by The Walters Art Gallery via William R. Johnston, curator. The gallery had received it from an unknown source.
