Handwritten minutes of a "Meeting of the 8 men not hung at the Luxembourg ... held at 54 Charles St. - at 8." The group was organized to protest their exclusion from the Exposition d'Artistes de L'Ecole Américaine, held at the Luxembourg Museum, 1919. "Present: Bouché, Gussow, Maurer, Stella, Weber and Zorach. Weber gave a complete report of the meeting of the Luxembourg Committee stating that he had denounced the duplicity of the managing officers, urging the immediate return of the paintings thus excluded, and demanding a public apology on the part of the commmittee to the men not hung etc.. The meeting adjourned after a toast was drunk to modern art at 10:30 - New Years Eve." [Inadvertently microfilmed as Yasuo Kuniyoshi papers.]
