Scope and Contents
The papers of painter Paul Harmon measure 8.0 linear feet and date from 1938-2022. Included are biographical material, project and exhibition files, writings, photographs, scrapbooks, printed material, and interviews documenting Paul Harmon's career as a painter.
Biographical material includes resumes and brochures, both hard copies and on DVD. Project files include commissions for works of art as well as information relating to Harmon's book, "Dante's Stones," 2011 and "Inner Voices," 2016. Writings consist of travel diaries by Hromon and an unpublished book of writings "Words on Art" by Harmon. Photographs and slides are of Harmon, friends and family, and his works of art. Images and videos of Harmon's works of art can also be found on DVD. 17 scrapbooks, 1938-2010, contain biographical material, printed material, photographs and correspondence. Additional printed material includes exhibition catalogs, programs, and articles on Harmon. Interviews found on DVD are with Harmon throughout his career, and information concerning Harmon's book documenting his works of art, "Paul Harmon Crossing Borders," 2010.
