Two letters (1964 and 1967) from Josephine Hopper to Lila Harnett. Hopper refers to two works of art, Manhattan Bridge and Lily Apartments, and Sugar Maple by her husband Edward Hopper. Also included is a photograph of Sugar Maple, two newspaper clippings regarding Edward Hopper and a note from Jack Bauer to Harnett commenting about one of the newspaper articles.
