Sculptor Cleo Hartwig (1911-1988) was a direct carver active in New York City, New York, and in the Sculptor's Guild. She often produced small sculpture made of stone, wood, or terracotta, and was married to fellow sculptor Vincent Glinksy.

Existence and Location of Copies
The collection is available on 35mm microfilm reels 1711, 982, and 85 at Archives of American Art offices and through interlibrary loan. Researchers should note that the arrangement of the material described in the container inventory does not reflect the arrangement of the collection on microfilm.

The papers were arranged upon receipt and microfilmed. The collection was processed, and a finding aid prepared by Jayna Josefson in 2023 with support from the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative.
