Herbert Barber Howe (1882-1957) was a clergyman, amateur historian, and author of history books. Taught contempory civilization at Columbia University, 1922-1938, editor for the WESTCHESTER COUNTY HISTORICAL BULLETIN, 1947-1954, and a member of the Society of the Cincinnati and the Bedford Historical Society.
