Nell Choate Jones (1879–1981) was a painter and printmaker in Brooklyn, New York. She served as president of the Brooklyn Society of Artists and the National Association of Women Artists.

Existence and Location of Copies
The collection is available on 35mm microfilm reels 1003-1004 and 1008 at Archives of American Art offices and through interlibrary loan. Researchers should note that the arrangement of the material described in the container inventory does not reflect the arrangement of the collection on microfilm.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Nell Choate Jones donated her papers to the Archives of American Art in 1972.
Processing Information
The collection received a preliminary level of processing upon receipt and was microflimed on reels 1003-1004 and 1008. The collection was processed, and a finding aid prepared by Jayna Josefson in 2022 with support from the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative.
