The papers document his career as a video artist through correspondence; clippings, exhibition announcements, exhibition catalogs, and other printed material; scrapbooks, sketchbooks, and other exhibition and project files; photographs, negatives, and slides of exhibition video stills; and film and video and digital video recordings of source material used in exhibitions. There is a 2.98 GB unprocessed addition to this collection donated in 2022 that includes installation clips of film and video sculpture. Each clip includes text with the name of exhibit, year, and a small descriptive note about each. Materials dates from 1975-2019.

William Lundberg (1942-) is a video installation artist living in Austin, Texas and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the early 1970s, Lundberg created installations using Super 8 image projections that earned him recognition as a video art pioneer.
