REELS LA2, LA4 and LA7: Scrapbook, 1927-1962, containing mostly newspaper clippings, articles, catalogs and announcements of Mac-Gurrins exhibitions, miscellaneous papers, mostly relating to the Federal Art Project in California, 1937-1938, including government forms, studies for murals, letters about Mac-Gurrin's work, photographs. Also included are the script of the dedication of the Los Angeles Hall of Records murals, May 20, 1939, a paper on the Old Butterfield Stage Trail, experiments on painted petrachrome slabs, experiments on sgraffito technique, memoranda, time sheets, and notes.

Material on reels LA2, LA4 and LA7 lent for microfilming 1964 by Buckley Mac-Gurrin; portions were subsequently donated in 1994 by Arthur Cohen, husband of Mac-Gurrin's student and family friend, Barbara Cohen.
