American Artists' Congress documentation includes photographs, exhibition catalogs, and other printed material. The Artists' Union materials include six photographs by Irving Marantz of members (some identified) of the Artists' Union participating in a demonstration advocating unionization for all artists. WPA material includes photographs and a brochure.

Existence and Location of Copies
The photographs relating to the Artists' Union are on 35mm microfilm reel 670 and are available at Archives of American Art offices and through interlibrary loan. Monroe's Thesis on reel 1044 is available only at Archives of American Art's Washington office. It is also available in university and museum libraries, or may be purchased through University Microfilms International, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
