The Jonathan Oakleaf photograph album regarding Josh Simpson's Megaplanet was compiled by glass collector Jonathan Oakleaf and dates from 2005-2006. The photographs document glass artist Josh Simpson's work in his Shelburne, Massachusetts studio to create Megaplanet, a 100-pound paperweight, commissioned by the Corning Museum of Glass. The work was completed in 2006.

Jonathan Oakleaf is an art collector in Collinsville, Connecticut who collects the work of glass artist Josh Simpson (1949- ). Simpson is known for his large solid, blown-glass spheres called "Megaplanets." The work for the Corning Museum of Glass was the 1,000th paperweight added to the Museum's collection.
