By-laws of the association, a one-page history, and a list of presidents; presidents' and general correspondence; minutes from board and annual meetings, and reports to the president; artists' applications; curators' and membership files; "talk books" (daily journals of the gallery), 1962-1983; guest registers, 1951-1961; exhibition, business and auction records containing price lists, expenses, letters, photographs, announcements, sales and price lists, lists of participants, and biographical material on artists; ledgers, cash books, receipts, and sales records for the association and the Barn Gallery; exhibition catalogs and announcements, and posters; blueprints, plans, and a drawing for the construction of the Barn Gallery.

Art association; Ogunquit, Maine. Founded 1928. The first art gallery in Ogunquit, Maine. Charles H. Woodbury was the first president, with Clara Whiteside as curator. The association began using the Barn Gallery as an exhibition space in 1958, but it is not organizationally related to the gallery.
