2 manuscripts, transcribed, designed, and illustrated by Raffael. One, done while he was a student at Yale, consists of quotes from the works of Dylan Thomas and a tribute to Thomas by Dame Edith Sitwell. It includes collage and watercolor illustrations. The second, "On the Marble Cliffs," by Ernst Juenger, was produced while Raffael was in Florence on a Fulbright grant.
