Adelaide Alsop Robineau (1865-1929) was a ceramicist and educator in Syracuse, New York. She studied ceramics at Alfred University and had a longtime career teaching at Syracuse University. Robineau is known for her Scarab Vase.

Existence and Location of Copies
The bulk of the collection is available on 35mm microfilm reel 653 at Archives of American Art offices and through interlibrary loan. Researchers should note that the arrangement of the material described in the container inventory does not reflect the arrangement of the collection on microfilm.

The collection was microfilmed after receipt on reel 653. The collection was processed, and a finding aid prepared by Jayna Josefson in 2022 with support from the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative.
