Jane Sabersky (1911-1983) was an art historian and curator in New York City, New York. Born in Munich, Germany, Jane emigrated to the United States in 1939 and served as assistant to dealer Curt Valentin. Later, she was the assistant director for the Department of Circulating Exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art.

The collection is available on 35mm microfilm reels 1617, 3471 and 3589 at Archives of American Art offices and through interlibrary loan. Researchers should note that the arrangement of the material described in the container inventory does not reflect the arrangement of the collection on microfilm.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Jane Sabersky donated her papers to the Archives of American Art from 1974 to 1981.
Processing Information
The papers were microfilmed after receipt. The collection was processed, and a finding aid prepared by Jayna Josefson in 2023 with support from the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative.
