A family photograph album, compiled by Schneider's sister, Emma; a scrapbook containing reproductions of drawings by James Swann; photocopies of articles and clippings about Schneider; an etching by Schneider; reproductions of his etchings; and printed material. Also contains materials relating to the World's Columbian Exposition, including a pamphlet, "Official Guide to the Grounds and Buildings of the World's Columbian Exposition," and a broadside, "To the Stockholders of the World's Columbian Exposition".

Immediate Source of Acquisition
This collection was originally in Chicago Historical Society, which gave it to National Collection of Fine Arts when it gave Schneider's works from the estate. National Collection of Fine Arts transferred the papers to AAA in 1980.
