Schooley speaks about his painting and the process; his emotional involvement with his work; his time attending the University of Colorado, and attending the University of Iowa for his master's degree and studying with Philip Guston; growing up in Oklahoma; teaching his students at Highlands; moving from Las Vegas to New Mexico; the link between nature and his paintings; and he explains some of the processes of creating his paintings.
