Biographical / Historical
Zipora Lillian Schreiber (1919-1981) was a painter and archaeologist active in Boston, Massachusetts.
Born in New York City, Lillian Lipchitz attended Hunter College in the early 1940s. She exhibited her works around Massachusetts and the East Coast of the United States. In the 1960s and 1970s, she was a staff artist for archaeological exhibitions at the Aegean Institute in Greece.
She married Louis Schreiber and had a daughter, Debora. Louis Schreiber was the head of libraries at Brandeis University and died in 1965. Zipora Schreiber died in 1981 in California.
