REEL 1207: 58 letters most responding to an invitation for a dinner, given in honor of Smedley, 1892; 13 photographs of smedley, a painting, unidentified people, and a house; 21 clippings; an autographed menu; a catalog of drawings by Smedley; and a ticket to the New Orleans Chess, Checkers, and Whist Club.

REELS 1255 and 1271 (photographs): A sketchbook; 41 photographs of portraits painted by Smedley; and a scrapbook containing letters, personal photographs, photographs of art work, and memorabilia.

Material on reel 1207 lent for microfilming 1977 by Elsie Williams. Material on reels 1255 and 1271 lent for microfilming 1977 by Mr. H.G. Huntington. Williams's and Huntington's relationship to Smedley is unknown.
