The George Spaventa papers measure 0.21 linear feet and date from circa 1944-1980. Included are business letters; 52 sketches in ink, ink-wash, and pentel and two sketchbooks dated 1972 and 1974; photographs of Spaventa's work and of him with his family and friends; Spaventa's notes about his dreams; an essay by Frank O'Hara; financial statements and invoices; printed material including catalogs, announcements, and clippings; and miscellany.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Donated in 1978 and 1980 by Lillian Sannasardo, is Spaventa's sister. Two sketchbooks donated anonymously in 2022.
