An interview with Sterling Strauser conducted 1989 Aug. 10 by Lynda Hartigan. Strauser speaks of his art education, and about his folk art collecting. He discusses some of the artists with whom he has worked, including Justin McCarthy, Jack Savitsky, Old Ironside Pry and Victor Joseph Gatto. He also speaks of collectors he has been associated with, including Herbert Hemphill, Red Grooms and Tom Armstrong.
