Correspondence, writings, printed material and video regarding John Alan Walker and his research on artists. Included are exhibition catalogs and brochures; magazine and newspaper articles and reviews;issues of John Alan Walker's self-published Fine Art Source Material Newsletter and Walker's handwritten and typewritten essays on art and artists; Walker's writings on William Wendt; material related to Nicholas Brigante including printed material a two-page, handwritten tribute to Symbolist Rex Slinkard, as well as a 30-min. VHS videotape interview with the artist by Suzanne Bravender titled, "Wet Media Imagery of Nick Brigante" in 1978. Also included are miscellaneous letters written by various artists and literary, military, governmental and political figures in the United States, Britain and Germany, primarily in the 19th and 20th centuries.
