Correspondence, 1933, with one letter from 1958, concerning the controversal dismissal of the artist Diego Rivera from his Rockefeller Center mural project, including letters from Alexander Brook, Peggy Bacon, Andrew Dasburg, Hugh Ferris, Morris Kantor, Rockwell Kent, Lewis Mumford, Niles Spencer and Abraham Walkowitz and others; and one clipping, 1933, regarding the controversy.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Donated 1987 by Mrs. Jason Berger, Wittenberg's daughter. Wittenberg was Rivera's attorney, and collected letters documenting support for Rivera.
