REELS 2809-11: Personal papers include: letters received, 1864-1901; address books; notebook, ca. 1859, containing personal and financial notes, and sketches; photographs of Wood and others; sketches and sketchbooks, 1845-1900, and a watercolor; account books and other financial records, 1845-1902; a list of Wood's paintings compiled by John Brooks, a curator at the Wood Art Gallery; clippings; and printed materials.

REEL 2808: T.W. Wood Art Gallery records, include: correspondence and memoranda; bylaws, project reports, membership lists, minutes of meetings, curator's and president's reports, and other organizational records; 4 scrapbooks, containing clippings, photographs, letters, exhibition announcements and invitations, and memorabilia; typescripts of speeches, including one given by Thomas Waterman Wood when he deeded the Gallery to the Trustees; and printed material on the Gallery and on Thomas Waterman Wood, including an annotated Wood Gallery collection catalog, 1913.

Genre and portrait painter, etcher; Montpelier, Vt. and New York, N.Y. Founded gallery 1891. 2006 oils and watercolors by Wood in permanent collection of gallery. In addition the gallery includes a large collection of WPA art on permanent loan from the U.S. government.
