One 120 page typescript draft of essay entitled "History of Federal Construction Work Since the World War" describing in detail all federal construction under the Public Buildings Act of 1926. The essay is divided into sections by fiscal year from 1926 through 1931, with descriptions of appropriations and federal acts for each year. Other sections of the essay include description of prior federal construction plans for Washington, D.C., and architectural descriptions and budgets for authorized and planned public buildings. Essay is accompanied by one page handwritten note which dates the last page to March 1, 1933.

Donated 2017 by Pamela Scott. Scott received the document from Karel Yasko, a GSA architect appointed under John F. Kennedy.
