Interviewee Tomás Ybarra-Frausto (1938- ) is an art historian in San Antonio, Texas, who specializes in Latin American and U.S. Latino culture. Interviewer Gilberto Cardenas is the Executive Director of the Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture, South Bend, Indiana. Ybarra-Frausto is an authority on Chicano art and a bibliographer.
