One page letter from William Zorach to "Mr. Shipley," February 8, 1930, concerning the sculpture, "The Lineman," 1931, by Zorach. In the letter, Zorach references Louis Jacobs posing in a football costume and he also requests to borrow football shoes from Mr. Shipley to complete details on the shoes of the piece.
