Biographical/Historical note
Art historian Marie-Louise Bastin (1918-2000) was born in Etterbeek, near Brussels, Belgium. She earned Diplôme de licenciée in 1966, and a Diplome de docteur in 1973, both in art history and archeology, sub-section of non-European arts of the Faculty of Letters at the Free University in Brussels. Major publications include
