The collection is comprised of two photographic albums containing 272 black and white postcards that depict scenes in Ghana, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. Many of the images depict Hausa people, town scenes, including churches, schools, and courts. Specific locations include Elmina Castle, Asmara, Cape Coast, Accra, Kumasi, Abaadsi Castle, Christiansborg Castle, and Takoradi.
