Judith von D. Miller is the author of
Art in East Africa: a Guide to Contemporary Art
, which is a guide to the artists, art movements, art galleries, museums, craft workshops, art schools, art societies, and art competitions in East Africa.Norman Miller has taught at Dartmouth since 1981, both in the Medical School and the Environmental Studies Program. His formal educaiton is in economics and political science. He is a specialist on African issues, having lived in the region for 12 years and taught at two universities in East Africa. Miller published six books on Africa and served there initially as a correspondent and later as an adviser to the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Environment Programme, and the World Health Organization.
