Biographical / Historical
Warren E. Cox published various books on Asian ceramics and decorative arts and was art director of Encyclopedia Britannica 1929-1939.
The interest aroused by these informal bulletins led to the founding of the Far Eastern Ceramic Group. They constitute in fact the beginning of the Far Eastern Ceramics Bulletin which first appeared under its official title in July 1948
