Full film record directed by Andrew Clark Horton and filmed by Geoffrey Hoffman for a television documentary that was never produced. Footage includes an interview with Thor Heyderdahl, Birdman cult re-enactment of swim to rock, caves with human bones, quarry and the Moai heads (large head stone statues) before they were raised to current positions, petroglyphs, archeological survey and interviews with native islanders and a "rapanui rendevous" meeting of elders and anthropologists. Collection also includes a copy of the 1934-35 Franco-Belgian expedition and interviews with and home movies of Dr. William Mulloy.
