Scope and Contents
Film footage shot by Foppe Hooghiemstra of the Laurence Marshall family expeditions to Namibia, 1957-58 and 1959. Hooghiemstra was a mechanic and shot his own amateur films of his experience. Film footage includes trucks travelling through various terrains and wildlife encountered. He also captures Ju/'hoansi (N!ai featured in "N!ai, Stor of a !Kung woman", /Gunda Bo, Toma Tsamko and Short /Qui) and other indigeneous groups as well as some expedition members (most likely Robert Gardner and Laurence Marshall).
