Scope and Contents
This collection documents the professional activities of anthropologist Jasper (Jay) Ingersoll from approximately 1959-1991. The collection contains his fieldnotes and interview tapes, reports to the Agency for International Development, the World Bank and the Asia Society's South East Asia Development Advisory Group, correspondence, research proposals and notes, conference papers, teaching materials, lecture notes, bibliography cards, 35mm slides, and Ingersoll's dissertation and master's thesis. Also included are CVs for Ingersoll and his wife Fern Ingersoll, and an 8x10 photograph of Ingersoll being awarded a certificate as a valued lecturer of the State Department Foreign Service Institute (Nov 1971).

Biographical Note

Biographical Note
Jasper Ingersoll is an anthropologist who has worked extensively in the area of development project implementation and analysis, particularly in the Mekong River Basin area of Thailand. In addition to teaching at Catholic University in Washington, D.C., Ingersoll has worked in partnership with both the Agency for International Development and the Asia Society's South East Asia Development Advisory Group.
