"This is John F. Steward's report of his study fo the geology of the Green and Colorado rivers during the second Powell river trip. The geological section given in pp. 3-9 is the same as that printed in pages 58-60 of Powell's (1876) "Report on the Geology of the Eastern Portion of the Uintah Mountains..."
