The collection consists of pencil and crayon of drawings of Zuni kachinas by an unknown artist. The drawings were made on three sheets of paper from an art instruction book. The pages have been stitched together with thread.

The drawings were found with the original artwork for the Twenty-third Annual Report of the Bureau of American Ethnology to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, 1901-1902, but were not published in that report.
