Bibliography
Bibliography
Note by Dr. Swanton: "As the correspondence shows, this Timucua was to have been edited by Dr. Robertson and myself (my work being on the Indian language) and to have been published by the Florida State Historical Society, but the project was never carried through. The plan was to print it along with the other Timucua letter published in facsimile by Peter Force about 1860 and reproduced by A.S. Gatschet in his studies of the Timucua Language in the publications of the American Philosophical Society. The material of these two should be extracted and added to the Timucua vocabulary which was made up from words taken out of the Grammar and religious works of Father Pareja and from the religious works of Father Movilla...[Manuscript 2401].
