Scope and Contents

Scope and Contents
BAE 2450b, while mostly Swanton and Gatschet (q.v.), has some additions and corrections in pencil in what appears to be Speckʹs hand and using some symbols he used but Swanton and Gatschet did not (e.g., ; for glottal stop; instead of n for nasalization; for ). The only informant referred to is "Mrs. O," "Mrs. Owl" (on cards for im, ʹsleepʹ; Iʹse, ʹCrawfishʹ; PI hi)--may Speckʹs notes here thus date from before 1921? Speck 1934 page xviii refers to rechecking with informants materials previously recorded by others.
