Scope and Contents

Scope and Contents
Bibliography of printed and manuscript works on language; on cards 4 1/2 x 6 1/2", alphabetically arranged. Prepared by Mr. Pilling for a general survey of Amerindian languages, to supplement and expand his printed bibliographies on American Indian languages.
Scope and Contents
Includes some entries (handwritten) apparently not published either in the Proof Sheets or in the bibliographies of the individual linguistic stocks published as BAE Bulletins. The bulk of the material, however, consists of entries cut from one of the above printed sources and mounted on cards, plus some incomplete handwritten entries preceded by numbers from the Proof Sheets and there given in full.
