Custodial History
A note with the manuscript signed "C. F.." (?) attributes the manuscript to Bushnell. Someone else has attributed it to Fowke, probably correctly. There is nothing in the Bureau of American Ethnology Annual Reports about Fowkeʹs activities in 1916, but manuscript states that his work was done for the Illinois Historical Society in May-June, 1916.
