Original is marked in red in J. Owen Dorsey's handwriting, "Wowodsky's original vocabulary (Russian spelling)," and in blue, in Dorsey's hand, "(Ugalentzi or) Ugalakmut." The copy is marked in pencil, apparently by Gibbs, "Iacutat--near Mt. St. Elias." The first word has been ruled out, and "not Yakutat" has been put in in another hand. (Henshaw's ?) In addition, there is a notation by H.W. Henshaw, "The Ugalense or Ugalakmiut are Eskimauan. So is this vocabulary. H.W.H."
